The Melvindale Public Library would like you to enter our bookmark-drawing contest!

This year, we would like entries to “mark” the 100th anniversary of the City of Melvindale. Draw your favorite place, memory or activity in Melvindale. Celebrate the 100th anniversary of your city!

This year we are including all students from kindergarten through 12th grade

Prizes will be awarded at the Melvindale Public Library on Thursday, May 9 at 6:00 pm. Winning bookmarks will be printed and distributed at the public library. All entries will be displayed in the library.

CONTEST RULES:

1. FILL IN your name, address, phone number, school and grade. Please print so we can read and understand. 

2. USE ONLY A BLACK LEAD PENCIL. Please do not use markers, crayons, colored pencils or ink. Entries submitted in color will not be eligible to win. The bookmarks are printed in black ink so colors will not show. 

3. Bookmarks must be turned in at the Melvindale Public Library by 4 PM, Saturday, March 30, 2024.
